How the priority of subjects in education is making us fail?
The real meaning of education is miles away from Today’s education. We have been taught how to compete with the world. The theory of moving along with the world has not been taught to us. the education we are gaining today is beyond excellence for survival but where is the education for our souls? Where is the key to divulge with souls? yes it’s also true that we can live without communicating with our souls but there is no significance in being a human. as a human being if you can’t see the adornment of a human soul then there is no sense in being alive.
What are priorities given to education?
What matters most to build a better human with a pious soul is the precedence of the subject in education. and in our today’s education system there are many flaws that I noticed that you might agree with.
Building pressure of career continuously among students : this is the big reason the student doesn’t get time to explore to look at things rather than study which results in manufacturing of Machines than humans. There is a chaos in the education system that if you don’t get higher marks you will not get Good Life. By good life they mean a good salary because they think their whole life depends upon money which is obviously not true. money can get you many things but not everything. It can give you a sustained well maintained life but you can’t get happiness with money. For happiness you need to have a good soul, a peaceful mind and a good heart who understands human nature and connects better with the soul to the soul of others.
Not mandatoring the subject of literature : subjects like physics, astrophysics, mechanics, quantum mechanics, Nuclear Physics, Thermodynamics, Biology, chemistry, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, political science, Geography, history, business management, humanity resources, computer programming, etc. are most important and everyone must learn the subjects according to their choices. Besides these subjects all the art forms in the world have a huge impact on people. they create a soft corner in one’s heart for someone else. They help you to better understand other’s minds. but the art of literature is on the next level. The emotion, understanding, thoughts, possibilities, rights, wrongs, life, death, this world, other world, pain, happiness, all those things that matter most in everyone’s life comes so easily in Literature. so I think it should be a compulsory subject in all education.
Choosing fields that are predefined by society : choosing a field that will give you a job with a good package has always been the easiest way to walk in. and for that there is a whole process that you have to go under. it’s a long and sticky process. once you have gone under it will be very difficult to get out of it. all the other works you could have been better at are left Behind. better at work means a better and happier version of humans. if you are giving 100% from your part at the work means you are conceding best to create something new out of it. work defines you a lot. It polishes you day by day to be perfect and bends you in the direction of ameliorate human being.
Sense of superiority will drown you :
Though It is teached to us in schools that we should respect all classes of people, rich and poor. you should not discriminate against people over caste, Creed, race and religion. but we forget what we had been taught in schools. let suppose a person who is well educated and has a well paid job. There is another person who is less educated and has a less paid job. When a person who has a well paid job sees another person then the sense of superiority comes in his mind because he sees and measures life with the amount of education and success. It is because the education system taught him that his aim is to get a job besides all the other necessary things that are required for life. The difference between we should respect and we must respect says itself loud and clear.
Meaningful education is the foundation of making a livingful place :
with the Harsh theoretical education of Survival and living education of emotions and understanding is also important. A home is made not just for living. we share all the things that happened to us. we Cry we smile at the incidents and the house also cries and smiles along with us. By home I meant the society, the people and the world. education was discovered to understand things in a more detailed and clear way. it is for connecting better with the things that are present in the Cosmos not to stay away from it and being alone in the world. If the world would ever be able to understand the real meaning of education then in reality it would be a place for living.
